Colors, shapes and textures are the main sources of motivation in the work of MF BAE. Using paint, she searches for color combinations that trigger a feeling of upliftment or nostalgia. She approaches colors as a hazy place, sometimes comforting, sometimes disturbing. Michèle is also interested in print media, wines and small dogs (chihuahuas) :)
